Prize Giving Assembly 2023
This year’s Prize Giving Assembly is on Tuesday 12 December, 7pm at the Ashburton Event Centre. Doors open at 6.30pm. All students are expected to attend and must wear correct and clean uniform. Students can arrive from 6.30pm and go immediately upstairs to the Bradford Room. The assembly usually takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. This is the last official event for the year and finishes our school year.
Entry to the assembly is by a general admission ticket and is free. Each family has been given two tickets. Any unallocated tickets will be offered to families of Year 6 children. If you do not need either or both of your tickets could you please return them to the school office asap and we will re-distribute them. Once all the auditorium seats are full, there will be a livestream for families in the foyer. The Event Centre does not allow audiences to stand in the aisles or up the back.
During the morning, our school will be bussed down to the centre for a rehearsal, there is no fee for the bus.
Bathroom Renovation Updates
The Room 6 and 7 bathroom renovation is nearly complete. Both classrooms will return to their own rooms at the start of 2024. Room 7 has also been renovated as part of the project.
The final bathroom to be renovated will be the block behind Rooms 10 and 11. At the start of next year, Rooms 10 and 11 will combine and be taught collaboratively in the hall. The staffroom will return to its original building, however with predicted roll growth, this may have to be used as a classroom again later in the year.
Room 12 will stay where it is while the Room 1o and 11 bathroom is being renovated.
We wish to thank the students for their patience as these projects have been happening.
