Year 5 and 6 Winter Sports Tournament
All the best to our Year 5 and 6 children who will take part in the Mid-Canterbury Sports Association winter tournament this Friday, 22 August. Children will be respresnting Tinwald School in Rugby, Netball, Hockey and Soccer.
Tinwald Dance Teams Win Places Again!!
Wow!! Tinwald School dancers follow on from previous teams with another round of successful dance. This year The Pivots (Year 3 and 4) and The Fearless Fireballs (Year 5 and 6) both placed 2nd in their respective categories. The Pivots also scooped the Attitude Award for being so positive as a team and towards other school groups. A HUGE thanks to Miss Gray and Miss Pringle for their behind the scenes work and all of our awesome parents who supported the dancers.
Tinwald Dance Teams take major awards!
Celebration Assembly Change of Date
Our next Celebration Assembly is on Friday 29 August, 2.15pm in the School Hall. This change is to accomodate the Mid-Canterbury Winter Sports Tournament. All parents and families are welcome to our assemblies.
Life Education at School
It is great to welcome Harold back and the team of Life Education. Each class will have two sessions in the mobile classroom during the week.
School Speech Finals
All parents and families are welcome to attend out school speech finals night this Thursday beginning at 6.30pm. Our children have been practising hard and winners from class and syndicate finals will be delivering their speeches on Thursday. Children from Hutt will be delivering poems.
